Junior Band
The Mater Dei Junior Band consists of middle school students in grades 5th through 8th from all eight feeder middle schools including Corpus Christi, Holy Redeemer, Resurrection, St. James, St. Joe, St. Philip, St. Wendel, and Westside Catholic.
For the 2018-2019 school year, the junior band consists of over 180 students!
Junior Band students have multiple performance opportunities including the Christmas concert, the Spring concert, Solo and Ensemble contest, and the junior band recruitment tour.
All junior band members are welcome to join the Mater Dei pep band. Also, students might be invited to join the Mater Dei marching band their 7th or 8th-grade year.
